Soul Food: Nourishment – Sincerity

KRAVE Sincerity
The navy suit has been the recommended interview/business suit of choice for a very long time. Some have even referred to it as their “sincere blue” suit, suggesting that the color of the suit conveys a message of honesty and transparency to potential employers or business constituents.
Sincerity, simply means to be free from deceit, hypocrisy, or duplicity. People who are sincere are also said to be genuine and honest.
How does a man look sincere, despite what he’s wearing? My recommendation is just BE sincere. That sounds silly, but it’s true. To be deceptive, misleading, or disingenuous may at times seem more expedient, but in the end, it usually comes back to bite you in the seat of your not-so-sincere blue.
There is no complex formula for becoming a more sincere person. It’s accomplished through consistently saying and doing the right thing. At times, being sincere may not be as eye-catching as the necktie that you wore to give your suit its pop factor, but it’s almost always respected and appreciated.
There may come a time that your trusty navy suit is dirty, or you forget to pick it up from the dry cleaners. Don’t worry; Just remember to always wear sincerity everyday and you’ll be fine.
